If you've always wanted to learn to sew but felt overwhelmed and short on time (I see you, busy mama!), this workshop is for you! I simplify every step so you can finally learn to sew, even if you are a total beginner!
You deserve to have a hobby that is completely for you!
Here's the Schedule!
Let's take a look at what you'll learn this week! Each lesson is kept super short (think 2 Bluey episodes long), because I know you are busy!
Sept 2
Get Ready!
Learn the basics of how your sewing machine works and cut out the fabric for your apron!
We're going to focus on:
  • The parts of your machine and what they do
  • Practice sewing on paper (yep! You read that right!)
  • How to cut out fabric and keep it straight ๐Ÿ˜… (all you need is a ruler and pair of scissors!)
Sept 3
Get Set!
Learn to thread your sewing machine (no matter what kind you have!) and prep your fabric for sewing.
We're going to focus on:
  • Threading your fabric the CORRECT way (no more tangled threads!)
  • Practice sewing on scrap fabric
  • Iron your apron fabric so you are ready to SEW tomorrow!
Sept 4
Let's SEW!
You've done all the prep work, now it's time to sew your apron! You are going to feel SO proud of yourself.
We're going to focus on:
  • Learning to sew straight lines
  • All my best tips and tricks for making your sewing projects look professional. No one will believe this was your first project!
Sept 5
Celebration time!
You've worked so hard and you're going to be BEAMING that you just made this apron yourself! We'll have a Sewing Celebration where we'll see a slideshow of all the aprons everyone has made, I'll give you some great next steps on your sewing journey so you KEEP GOING, and we'll announce the grand prize winners! More on that below๐Ÿ˜‰
Here's what past Learn to Sew Week participants have to say!
You've been dreaming of sewing clothes for yourself, or for your little ones. You bought the sewing machine, excited to get started, then you sew your first line of stitches and your sewing machine starts making sounds like the rock tumbler you had in 2001. You turn the fabric over to find this...

You want to cry. And just like that, your dreams of sewing amazing clothes for yourself and your family start unraveling faster than the bobbin you evidently put in wrong. ๐Ÿ˜žThoughts of doubt start creeping in...

"Maybe I'm not cut out for this"
"Who am I to think I can sew if I can't even do a beginner project?"
"I knew it... I'm just not the creative type"

If that sounds familiar, you're not alone!

I've heard this story from hundreds of women just like you who signed up for Learn to Sew Week. But then something crazy happens, they start gaining confidence a tiny bit at a time.

They thread their sewing machine and it doesn't look like a bird's nest underneath.

They learn all those parts of the machine that sounded overwhelming at first and realize it's actually really straightforward!

Then next thing they know they are sitting at their machine in disbelief because 2 days before they were completely overwhelmed and intimidated, but now they are holding something they made with their own two hands and it looks DANG good. I've seen it time and time again, and I want YOU to have that feeling of a grin spreading across your face because YOU sewed something and it was super fun and rewarding!

Using your machine for the first time doesn't have to be overwhelming. If you've been hesitant, or you tried sewing and got frustrated, or even put your machine in the back of your closet- you've landed in the right place.

In three simple days of lessons, I take your hand and walk you through the steps to get you feeling confident and actually spending time sewing when you sit down in front of your machine (instead of crying!).

Enrollment ends soon. Sign up today before it's too late!
This was the exact thing I needed to help me get over my anxieties around getting started sewing. With not much experience, jumping in and finding where to start can be daunting. This breaks it down to where it's easy to get started!
HEY, I'M AMELIA
When I was a new mom, I realized I needed a hobby, something that was "my thing." After borrowing my grandmother's sewing machine, I was immediately hooked (and I never gave her machine back ?). Sewing became the creative outlet I needed, and it felt incredible seeing my daughter walk around in something I made!

But I took the long road. I spent years figuring things out on my own, throwing away projects, and getting frustrated. I wish I had someone to show me the way back then, someone to give me a clear path "do this, now cut that, now stitch here." It would have saved me so much time and headache.

I want to be that guide for you so you can get sewing quickly and easily!

Oh wait, did I forget to mention there are some amazing prizes up for grabs just for participating??
